I want this kit as i admire how it completely transforms the rx7, dont get me wrong i love my rx7 to bits, but....

rx7's are starting to slowly become more common in the uk and i want mine to be that bit better looks wise etc, i have already had the engine replaced with a 7.1ltr chevy v8 which is putting out 1000bhp and is capable of 1500bhp, (which cost me 25k $ including fitting)

So i want the rx to be like no other in the uk

You wanna be unique? Stay rotary and go Renesis 20B with that money.

How the eff did you manage to suck 1000bhp out of a 7.1 V8, and more importantly, how can you push it to 1500bhp? This doesn't seem plausible to me, unless you somehow managed to throw on a turbo system capable of feeding the beast (two giant *** turbos). Even then, I don't really see this option costing only $25k with fitting.

And you would have had to change tranny and rear end which you've neglected to mention price of. And all on a scaffolders salary!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Ye sure no problem ill get the pics uploaded tomo morning,

The reason this amount of cash has went into the rx is because i started and didnt want to stop, so its dead set in my mind that if i stop before i finish its just a waste of money,

I dont like porsche call me strange but i just dont i have test driven them in the past, wasnt for me,

fortune body kit is ugly as &%^$%$ well it's your money i'd personally go for :
Mazda RX-7 VS D1 GT Model but i'd also buy it from these people:
(last on this page)
http://www.aerokits.net/cart/index.p...ort=20a&page=3

check the price diffrence mate...
(and stay with 20b it's an rx-7 it was ment to be different=rotary )

Just IMHO

The Scoot 4 rotor body work is one off, and is not sold to the public.

The tamon kit is not the Scoot kit, and costs 25,000 in the minimum.

The veilside kit is very nice. There are a couple of things i would change, or do differently.

But, that is about it.

Someone was selling the kit in the 3rd gen parts for sale forum recently for $5k. There were questions regarding his legitimacy, but he said he was about to leave the country.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ilside+fortune

Brian would probably know if this is legit or not because they haven't sold very many of those kits.

thats correct, the only differences i can see are the hood, and headlights, everything else is pretty similar. Here is a picture of scoots fd

here is a picture of tamons TDC-047 Complete Wide Body Kit for 19000 euros:

Hood, Headlights, Side Skirts, Door assembly. The Lines on the Scoot and Tamon FD is close, but its is not quite the same. I like the Scoot Version more personally.

They do not sell the headlights. No plan to sell anytime soon either. Maybe in the future...that is unknown.

I want to see some pics of the Chevy engine.
A dynosheet would also be nice.

Anything Veilside makes looks way to flashy if you ask me. All they do is scream 'Look at me!', I guess this is what makes them so populair in the UK.
The scoot kit is even worse IMHO, all these full-conversion kits try to makes cars look like something they are not, while the FD already is a cool car and very nice to look at.
