Underglow lights do not belong on Rx-7's. Just my 2 cents...

I didn't read a bunch of your arguments.

But.
In Ohio, the color or placement doesn't matter. It's the application. If they blink or oscillate, and aren't turn signals (amber/white up front, amber/red out back) then they are illegal. However, you can have all the red or blue lights you want, AS LONG AS THEY DON'T BLINK/OSCILLATE.

Ask yourself this question: "How many Ferraris or Porsches (not owned by 20 year old #1 draft picks) have I seen with underbody lighting?". I make almost all of my asthetic choices this way.

I feel you, but I still gotta say if you have serious body work, and the lights are put right, ONLY for show (not to drive around like that like an idiot), it can look real nice. And that's just me being real, irregardless of what F&F and ricers do.

I think a lot of people on this forum hate too much stuff sweepingly and blindly simply because of how they've seen it done WRONG or how they've seen it misused. That shouldn't make you hate the item...rather you'd hate it's misuse... (ie real halon extinguishers in FDs vs. APC A-pillar fire squirt bottles lol)

Now if you STILL just hate neons, that's your opinion..and I can understand that. Just don't hate on stuff across the board like that w/o lookin at the total package, you feel me? (this wasn't directed at you Scrub

Oh...and as for laws, neons are LEGAL in DC. Go figure...

If done correctly, yeah they look nice....he'll when I was younger I had them on my civic....and yes they were done right. But that was back before most people did it and what not. Even some of the D1 cars had neon underneith of them. I just hate it when you can see the bulbs and what not.

i have a stock dodge avenger, with blue lights, and it looks ******* cool!! i live in sd, and red is the only illegal color here, asn far as i know...

but...

i have seen them on a couple cars, and they suck, an eclipse has bright green, and they aren't covered by the body, looks like ****...also, a dodge intrepid has them on jsut the front and rear, looks crappy...or course there always is a honda or two with the 'i made this at home, in my toybox look, and they suck

In my opinion, do it with class, and they look great.
