TWO 10" Subs in back wall

has anyone installed two 10s directly into the back wall (you know the removable plastic one to the trunk). I dont know if they will fit but I think it would be sweet two have a ten behind each seat and two ports in the middle of the panel...anyone done it? I dont know if the airspace in the trunk is optimal but it would be more for looks than for efficiency...anyway I am sure 2 tens will be loud either way...any ideas/opinions/suggestions/pics???

i don't know how good that would work, and the two ports would be basically pointless...unless if you somehow incorporated the removable wall into a sealed box...but then it wouldn't be removeable (sp)...

don't think it would work... cut a hole inthe wall just big enough for the sub box to poke thru...

two 10" subs in ported box will be about 2.5-3 cubic feet. Not very familiar with your cars, but sealed generally sound better (and look better in my opinion).

Man I think I am gonna do it. I just have to see if two tens actually fit...this is kinda in the style like the viper has...but those are two eights between each seat where as this would be two tens behind each seat and would look and sound good....the only problem is I dont know if you can just put those speakers into that back panel because it might vibrate a lot..it is fixed very poorly

IMO, 2 tens would be WAY too much... hell, 2 eights would almost be too much... it's not like we're talkign about a blazer or somethin here... and yeah i really wouldn't count on the wall being secured very well, especially with the vibration from your two subs. i'm sure you could permanently mount the wall, but that's such a permanent modification to the car

I have two 12"s. It is enough to win competitions. You could get by with a single 10, or 12 inch.

best idea yet

if you are going for high spl, you need to build a virtutek box with either one or two ports, hands down. those boxes will turn **** into sugar. hell, they make virtutek subs even hammer. the irony of how they have such a good box.
aninstaller@hotmail.com for details.
You could even check out my virtutek wedge two on the "137 dba system for sale" on this forum.
