Tire Shine Vs. Rubber and Molding Protectant

Hey, Ive run out of tire shine and I am wondering if there is any real differences between it and automotive rubber and plastic protectant. Looked on the back and it appears to have about the same description.
Whatdyathink? Dont want to stain my tires with some ****.

I've used the lexol or whatever stuff on my tires when I ran out of tire shine. It worked prettty good, and best of all it didn't have any splash or whatever you call it. When the stuff flies off the tires and onto the side of teh car. It wasn't as shiny as the tire stuff but it made them look wet, which is the effect I was going for anyway.

It's all silicon. Well, much of it. In any event I don't think you'll stain your tires.
