Still Pissed off at Glovebox lighting?
I tried fixing this about a year ago by using some rubber and gluing it to the area where the plunger hits the glovebox.
I have searched and searched and searched and haven't found any other solution.
Let's pull our resources together and find a permanent fix to this dilemma right now.
The only ideas I can think of are somehow extending the plunger by either lowering the base or making it longer.
Or close the gap between the glovebox flap and the dash. This would be the ideal fix but it seems that no one has found a solution to the "drooping glovebox" that plagues all 93' FD's.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light=glovebox this seems like a good fix but would rather correct the original problem of "why the glovebox door droops."
This thread also points out that a lengthened plunger is not a solution.
In this thread https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/glove-compartment-430272/ howard coleman points out the permanent fix.
Can someone take some pics of the procedure?
