steering wheel questions...

for an FC

I'm looking at getting a new wheel as the leather on my OEM wheel is tearing up.

I'm looking at some quality aftermarket wheels (not the $29 eBay special) and not sure exactly which direction I'm "supposed" to be heading.

Q: what size is stock wheel? 320mm?
Q: do I need a flat wheel or the deep wheel?
Q: does ^ depend on the adaptor?

I'm looking to retain the stock wheel size in the stock location (depth from dash) as the car is a daily and I need use of my blinkers and dont wanna be smashing fingers on the stalks nor do I want the wheel in my chest.

Please help me with these simple questions.

Also, if you have any pics of an aftermarket steering wheel installed in your car and can provide me with information, I would greatly appreciate the info and a pic or two.

I'm an FD guy, but these are pretty basic questions for RX7's in general. The stock steering wheel size should be 380mm. I wouldn't pick a 320mm wheel if you don't want to block some of your gauges. 350mm wheels seem to be the best balance of a little wheel size reduction without causing issues with gauges.

You get whatever you like.

Nope, just depends on your taste.

Now, something to consider is your hub assembly. I have a hub and added a quick release as well. The quick release is like a space to bring the wheel closer to me (I have long legs and needed clearance for my knees). However, this makes reaching for the turn signals and such much more of a pain as they aren't just a finger tip away anymore. Just FYI in case you start thinking about quick releases and such.
