sparkling black pearl paint?
I'm currently in the process of painting my car (by bigislandsevens) and debating on 'sparkling black pearl' or 'brilliant black'. I've seen brilliant black before on several rx7s but the only sparkling black i can find is on the mazda CX9... has neone used this paint yet? Pics?

My wife's '94 Geo Prism is a metalic/sparkly black!
Black does look good on these cars, except for that it tends to hide it's best design feature—the tailights. A lttle metalic might provide some contrast, and metalics in general tend to show off the curves of the car well.

I was looking at using Toyota's black sand pearl or or GM's black Raven. A problem with metallics I find is that a plain black will have more reflection over a mettalic. Part of what makes me like black is the fact that it's so mirror like, but I wouldn't something just a little one off if I'm dropping the money for a new paintjob. There's a Kandy/Candy Black that's been released by Alsa...I'm really curious to see what that looks like in person.

After much debating, I had my fc vert painted the factory black color back in like 2003 and havent regretted it. Search my username and 'vert' to see some pics.

Sparkling black? hmm, most def brilliant black which is just plain black will look very nice but overall black is the worst color to maintain. I've seen black metallic on a few cars its nice.
