I don't know. It just seems pretty common for people to get on the forum and lie about scoot hoods. I guess it is a new fad. Its ok I dont really care.

Scoot Hood
My friend recently got an original Scoot Hood from Japan. The quality is THE BEST I have ever seen on any fiberglass maker (replica or original) from Japan. It's so immaculate you will not see ANY fiberglass imperfection on that hood. Very Very nice hood, fits like OEM too.
The hood looked really nice, too bad the under rain guard hits the single turbo pipings.
I believe he got it for around $1850.
