I am contemplating on sandblasting my MB FD, the car has been sitting for over 1 year already and it does have a whole bunch of scratches and small dings all over the car. The car is Montego Blue but have always wanted to paint it white.

I was wondering if sandblasting the FD would be a lot of work, I mean I plan on gutting the whole car myself, to get it blasted.

Anybody done this before?

Oh by the way , my father in law does sandblasting and can do it at his shop
