rock chips and bumpers

what do you guys do about the rock chips on your front bumper?

anything to reduce the # of them it seems like my rx7 eats rocks every time i roll it out of the garage.

my car is silver so they dont show that bad i could imagine what i would be like on a black car.

used to be a few companies that made clear bras, clear vinyl sticker that covered the nose of the car which helped eliminate them. i don't really hear about it being done much anymore as this was over 10 years ago and haven't heard a peep since, sort of like the rhino liner truck bed liners.

Any good vinyl shop should be able to do a custom install of clear bra for you no problem. Do a search for your area.

I would have thought the chips wouldn't show up very badly on a black car.
mine has a 5yr old paint job in corvette white pearl and its riddled with tiny black chips on the front! I have been thinking about repairing them but apparently it's impossible to match pearl paints :/

you cant really put the clear bra over already chipped paint

if you get your bumper refinished then you may want to consider the clear paint protection films
