Recover factory FD seats in red-leather? Source?

hi all... ok, i am wanting to recover my worn tan seats in my FD w/ bright red leather covers... i know that some FD's (japan only?) came w/ red leather, are these covers available through Mazda in any fashion, it would be great to be able to stretch new factory covers over my seats... thx all..

Some 93 have a dark red leather surface (almost burgendy) in the US. Some say it's a little dull for red color and hard to keep up with. When it's clean and new, it does look pretty darn good though. Unless you can find someone to trade seats with, your best bet would be to have an upholstry shop recover your seats with some nice leather or a red fabric. The stock leather isn't all that durable - that's why you are looking at getting your tan ones done right? Between leather and nice cloth, I would choose cloth. Zero maintenance and almost no wear and tear.

Try www.sure-fit.com and www.leatherseats.com. I have the sure fit seats and they are very nice but leatherseats.com are supposed to be stock replicas and are cheaper. Note: these are whole replacement kits not just seat covers.
