So with that said: Ferrari Red.

My Point was no matter what Image you post, color rendition depends on accuracy, and the eye of the beholder... either way here are two photos along with the one above, that are all the same car, under different lighting conditions shot with different cameras....

GoodfellaFD3S: There is no such thing as 'Mazda red.'FDs were given shitty paint jobs from the factory, that tended to chip and fade over time.
This is absolutely true!! I spoke to Ray from PF about this and he said basically the same thing. Oxidation factor was heavy with the "original" red paintjobs and it could be seen with the faded red turning into pink after years. HOWEVER this in no way applies to new paints (PPG, Spies Hecker, etc) that are "VR", these companies are not going to be using the same formula Mazda did when painting there cars over 13 years ago.
On top of that most body shops should and will repaint your car utilizing skills and quality products in order to preserve and enhance the overall look and durability. I personally spoke to quite a few, and really did my research before choosing VR. Almost everyone I spoke with agreed a new fresh repaint with VR is the ultimate for reds. The purple-blue hue of VR red really changes with light and that’s what I like about it most (subtle and sleek in low lights, brilliant and sharp in bright light). Most people will even notice the quality difference in 93-96 VR compared to the newer VR repaints on later model FD’s (End of production, 02’). Anyways I will be picking up the car this week, we will see how it turns out!!!

I didn't used to be, and I still have some appreciation for the rotary, but it didn't fit my lifestyle... but I wanted to keep the car... (I love it) so much so I rebuilt it 2X... I couldn't go for 3X....

Got the car back guys!! I am impressed but there are still a few things I want to change or fix (welcome to the life of a perfectionist). I will be cleaning the car up nicely tomorrow and hope to get some quality pics up! Overall I am extremely happy with the outcome.
Pros: Sexy paint job (seriously pretty impressive), good clear coat application, full dent and ding removal, 99 front end, new car look, no overspray (inch or two behind side mirrors), no orange peel...
Cons: So-so 99 bumper fitment, shady window seal job, forgot to remove stock fog lights (I will take them off tomorrow), re-installed old school symbols, compound all over exhaust and rims that need to be washed and clean off lol...

sexy indeed!
however upon further inspection, there seems to be an apparition entrapped within the ignition, who has risen, if you closely listen and analyze the heartbeat and rhythm, the baby is livin in fear here of his verbal sickness
