My car will be repainted, I'm going with red, which red I have no idea! Please any opinions, suggestions will be very much appreciated.
If possible supply picture, paintcode, and anything else helpful.
So far I have been suggested Ferrari Red (Enzo, 360 Modena) as the inferior paint.

I like the car in its stock Vintage Red. I think I had a viper red paint on my last FD and while it was a brighter red, I do prefer the hue of stock Vintage Red. It just works on the car.
Velocity Red is cool on the Miata but I'm not sure it will work well on the FD imo. I saw one FD local with a metallic red paint job and didn't care for it.

vintage red is one of the best reds i have seen. if your paint is old and faded perhaps your opinion is a bit biased. a nice clean vr car looks aweosme in the sun light and is deep enough to have that nice shine/glow in the early eve. i vote VR

re-spraying my FD back to vintage red would be cheaper than a complete color change, i really would like to keep the color for value issues. but 05 shinka on an FD, IMO, would look nice

I'll cast another vote for Vintage Red. I like a CLEAN paint job - so many people get carried away trying to "add a little something extra", like metallic flake, pearls, some freaky color, etc. Basic and clean wins every time in my book.

MATTY'S Pics, nice red Matty - always liked the stock color - traditionalist. Be careful as brighter reds seem to get noticed - sometimes by those you would prefer were looking at other motorists and not you....

Hmm... Looks like vintage red is a popular choice. Do we really think this is nicest red of all choices. What does the japanese 99 spec rx7s use for there reds? Curious.. I have a few pics of reds I like hopefully I can post them soon.

I have to vote Vintage Red as well. It looks horrible when it's faded but i've seen cars with new paint and it really does look fantastic.
Don't take my word for it, but i'm pretty sure that the Japanese RX-7's would be Vintage Red as well.
