re amemiya sleek light cover replacement

I was able to make my own out of a nice lexan uv protected sheet. I was able to mold them to the same contour of the housings so it looked as they originals did. I have pics and if anyone else needs it done I can do it, let me know

I know these dont look amazing with the screws but I did that just to make sure they dont fly off, they werent needed to hold the piece in place

can you make the fresh air cover as well. the one that has an opening to allow cold air come in through one side of the driver and passenger side? i'd be interested in that if you could.

Chuck,
Actually the set you sold me the paint chipped really easy and I didnt like how flimsy the were (no offense) they were prefectly straight without any curve to it and I could bend them to the point where two opposite ends could touch, I didnt like that, but I wasnt going to bash you or say anything about it so I bit the $100 and went out and talked to a place called palco plastics in my area and talked with their guy about how to mold my own set and have a nice curve to them without having to pay an enormous amount of money. I took his ideas along with some of my own and also the original re covers that I had that were scracthed up and made my own set, I still have yours, and if anyone would like I can show you chucks next to my set that I made. Mine has a curve to it and your are straight. So before you make any assumptions please write me in private about the matter before making points that arent true. For the $100 I paid I expected something along the lines of the original re covers not the pieces you sent me, but thanks anyway.

I was just wondering since you just got the covers a couple of days ago and now you made your own.

Lexan has the flexible property so they don't break. It's not flimsy. You can hit it with a rock and it still won't break. But acrylic breaks. It happens to a few people with the c west headlight kit.

It's good that you made your own. I am happy for you.

I am sorry if made audiobleeffects sound bad. Not my intention.

photos of flat cover on the RE Amemiya housing

The flat cover fits just fine on the RE Amemiya housing. This is a custom one I got made for my customer whose RE Amemiya original cover got cracked by a flying rock.

It contours the housings just fine as you can see in the photos. I don't know why you have problem putting it on.

About the paint, the shop that makes them for me use the Polycarbonate based paint so they stick with the Lexan. If they chip, they were using the regular paint without telling me. I have another customer telling me about that so I suspect the set you got has the regular paint on it. If you want, I can send you an replacement with the polycarbonate paint so they won't chip.

I didnt have a problem with the fitment, I didnt like how flimsy it was, I went with a thicker piece with a natural contour instead of a thin piece I can form to the shape when its gooped in place
