do you compare the technology behind an ecu and a pair of headlights ?
cheapasses as you want to put it..but they defenately dont worth 2200$ +
i find this a low level conversation ..Go ahead and complain to Shineauto aswell that does replicas and whoever else does.

I just did compare an ECU to a pair of headlights, which are both automotive parts when you cut the politicalally correct fat around it, regardless of how you want to slice it for your own arguement's sake.
Everything is priced to a market. 1700-2000 is what the set market value for a pair of replacement sleek lights in japan goes for. Whether it's R-Magic, RE-Amemiya, RUN Racing, or whomever it may be. Who are you to say what profit margin anybody wants to make on their products?
Replica parts have their market, especially for discontinued parts. I have no beef with what Shine auto does. They sell parts because there is a market and customer base for it. You only reinforced my point. If people paid what they figured was "worth" for products, people would want to pay 20,000 dollars for an Elise, because that is what it is "worth" to them. But some people know what life reality is, and some are delusional.
R34 GTRs go for 50,000 in japan, but the fair market price in the USA is 65000-85000. That is what they sell for, and that is what people who want a legal car will pay. That is how the world and business works. There are people who understand and move on with their projects, and there are whiners.
Sports cars are not life necessities, and driving is not a right. These are not parts that are going to change your life. Get over it.
