I have the same seats you have that I'm getting ready to put in tomorrow, I fitted it in today and like you said that it sits too high. I'm modifying the sub frame to where it's going to sit lower in the car. I would think Sparco's are good but I got mine really cheap.

I was thinking of modifying the subframes but i still think the seats dont seem right? i know the 7 isnt a big car inside but the seats just dont feel right? even if they were droped, the back rest is tight upto the doors and even when fully back there's next to know leg room (ime 5-9") was just interested to know what seats were used on the group to good affect without mods to the subframes if its poss. let me know how you get on though

I was wondering the same thing for the longest time. I'm doing my seats tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes. If it's too tight then I'll just stick with my stockers and sell the Rage seat. I also ordered a MOMO steering wheel so I hope that will help with the leg room being that it's smaller than stock

i already have a smaller aftermarket wheel on mine, as i mentioned though i havnt sat in a RX7 with standard seats, mine came with the rage seats, Suppose if u can get them down to the same hight has standard all will be OK, I had the same prob with my TR7 in the end i had to modify the floor pan, but it was well worth it

Thanks guys, sorry about the bad picture. No I did the middle in gray suede to break it up a little. The outsides are leather, and it is all stiched in red. I also got black boots, and stiched them in red. I am sure there are places around you that do seats. I think I paid around $1100 to get them redone, but now I dont have to worry about fitting some after market seats in a tiny car. I am 6"1, and I fit in the stock seats, so I wanted to keep it that way. Plus I think these look better myself. Now to install these RE-Amemiya side skirts I just got for $300... I think that is a steal. By the way I have some nice feed sideskirts if anyone is interested.
