Hard to beat Rotary Run Racing lights, but the ver2r Feed bumper is definitely an improvement. Are you thinking of going with the front canards or a diffuser to even out the carbon theme? Another idea I've been kicking around is to incorporate a led bar into the bumper lights mimicking the Audi R8 setup. Glad to see some progress at any rate, more than I can say about my build.

Yah, I do miss the headlights already. I just love how sleek the lights look when the pop-ups are down. Knightsport headlight kit should take care of the how they look when they are up.

Re-amemiya pro carbon-fiber diffuser with center valence and cf craftsqaure add-ons are going on the rear.

BTW, I have a SUPER RARE AMUSE TI exhaust for sale in about three weeks, I believe it is the only one in North America for sale. Reading this forum it is supposed to be the best sounding exhaust for the fd. Weighs around 7lbs. The exhaust is $1600 + s/h from japanparts.com, my price is $1099+s/h. Very good condition, less than 800 miles, few scratches on bottom of the muffler, nothing noticeable when installed.

yep, going with the frp ad9, where the vents are a bit more aggressive than the seibon. CF hoods are over-rated anyways.

Looking good man! I have the 7 in my garage now...drove from Dallas...that's a long ride in a 7 with stiff suspension. I have some tranny and tuning things to hammer out...and a power steering leak that I have to address among other little things...but overall very happy with the darkside.

When it gets warmer I'll have to get you over to check it out.

Congrats! I thought you were going to wait a big longer to get it, or did you get a different one? By darkside, do you mean lsx? Mod list or pictures? I think i am more excited than you are, ha.

Stock LS6 well...little more aggressive cam. 380 whp and 375 torque. Its essentially the z06 engine with a little tweak.

NICE! I would love to do a lsx swap if it was a bit more affordable, I just do not have the mechanical knowledge to do the swap my-self. LMK when it is all sorted out, I definitely want a ride.

You would get the mechanical knowledge...if you can do rotary, you can do piston. Basics are all still the same. Tranny is more complicated I think but that's the fun in cars...you get to research and learn and break and fix and just enjoy the "doing" of it all.

I've wanted to do a swap, but buying it was more affordable. It also gives me more time to play vs it sitting in the garage waiting for me to get it together.

Hey, I noticed you may be looking for some light mods. aside from the bumper lights, I am actually getting my headlights modded to have audi-like led's and possibly BMW type halos. I have the evo-r sleek kit, and just sent them to www.cincitydesigns.com to have them put in bi-xenons (if they fit) with their standard halo and led package. Mine will be the first rx7 lights they've done, I hope to have them back at the end of february. I'll post pics when I get them, they should look pretty amazing, cincity does great work. pm me if you are interested in seeing their stuff.

That will definitely be unique, good luck with your project.

Hey, do you still have that burnout front bumper for sale?? If so, I will buy it. $150 right? I'm located in NY. If it's still available, let me know what the shipping will be and we'll do this. Thanks...

AMUSE R1 TITAN TITANIUM EXHAUST!!!
Just picked it up today and installed it in about 30 minutes. Weighs 6.9lbs. The welds are simply beautiful. This is not for sale anymore. My previous exhausts include: apexi n1, apexi n1 duals, apexi gt spec, and hks carbon ti. This blows ALL of them out of the water. Sound is extremely deep with ZERO rasp or braaaaaap, just nice and clean. It also points upwards from the rear which IMO looks great, I need to get some pics of it installed. I will wait to the stock rear bumper goes back on. MSRP on this exhaust is $1600 +s/h from the motherland, and is worth EVERY penny. I was worried that this might be too loud but it is not too bad since the stock midpipe is still attached. Should sound WICKED with a R-magic titanium midpipe. I have an arc ti exhaust coming in soon, I am undecided on which one I will keep, time will tell. Here is a sound clip of the exhaust, sorry its on my shitty point and shoot camera so sound quality is subpar, at best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUDgeKiDEU0. Some pics of the amuse exhaust.

A+ welds

Here is the old hks carbon ti exhaust in comparison.

Here is a picture of the hks carbon ti on my car

Cleaned up very nicely and it is in great shape. Price is $299.
