+1, seriously. I really wish it was photoshopped, but even then it wouldn't be cool.

I like the sideskirts though.

Different tastes I can handle.. but that is bad tastes.. very bad. Ive seen a lot of sporty "chrom" rims that I might not like, but would have no problems if they showed up on an FD. But come on.. those things belong on a giant SUV or something.

That's just how they do things in Oz. A LOT of FDs and Skylines and other sports cars ride on big chromes that barely fit on the car. They're also really big into ginormous shiny front mounts and interior customization. At least they have their own style. We just imitate everything Japanese over here.

Anyways, just because it's not cool here doesn't mean you should rag on it. We worship all things Japan but then go look at their bozuko(sp?) cars and say "UGH!".
Different strokes for different folks.

Am I the only one who doesnt understand this whole huge lip obsession? Unless its neccessary for a track car to run a wide tire, its just stupid IMO.

I'm sure you're not the only one, but possibly the minority. That's okay though. It's actually not necessary to have a huge lip to run big tires. So that we can run 10" width wheels in the front with stock bumpers and no issues, the CCW wheels have to be a +50 offset. That equals absolutely no lip. It's up to what you're willing to sacrifice for gains. I like the look of big lip wheels, and run fairly big heavy wheels on the street because I don't need the edge that light, better sized wheels would give me. Now if I were ever competing, I would throw on the stock wheels, and eventually if I really got into it would buy a good set of wheels solely for the track.

^So do you want more pics or what? You can *subscribe* without having to bump this thread without posting a pic yourself. Just a thought and question.

I accept it just fine. I think most here accept the fact that tastes differ. I also accept the fact that posters will voice their opinions. If you think everyone should post up positive comments or be quiet, that's probably not going to happen on an open forum. That said, there is a line between voicing opinions that something doesn't appeal to you or is in poor taste..... and just insulting bullshit. Like ****, I can't define it, but know it when I see it.
