Polk/Momo Subs

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard the polk/momo subs. I've read a lot of reviews and I'm thinking about buying a couple 12's. Anyone have any problems with these subs?

Thanks~Cody

don't do it. if your into sound quality ok ( but you can spend the money on polk gnx's and get the same result). if you want anice sub not all that expensive, alpine type r's all the way. jl w7 or w6, mtx 8000 or 6000, even infinity perfect or refernces. i work at a retailer.

momo 12's

I have 2 polk momo 12" subs(the mm120's, with the red dust cap, not the new ones). I power them with a JBL 1200.1 amplifier(putting out 1200W at 2ohms).

I am rather happy with it, i built a custom enclosure out of 3/4" MDF and it fits great in the rear hatch area of my FC. I even have a little room left over. I will warn you though they are not the loudest of subs, but then again they are loud enough that most people who ride in my car cant stand to have the volume most of the way up either. I will probably end up replacing the subs eventually, just not sure with what(was thinking about the Brahma from Adire, but its damn expensive).

They arn't that quiet, btw. A friend of mine has 2 12" JL 12w3's run by an MTX 6500D, his birth sheet reads something like 720W@14.4V(wheras my amp does 1200@12V), so i'm using a decent ammount more power, and i'm in a hatchback, he has a passat, but still. I think they were decent, i just have this need for gut renching bass, and when i bought my subs i thought i wanted something that had a super accurate sound to them, oh well.
