Here is a thread about removing pinstripes. The bottom line is that the razor blade method isn't the best - there is actually a pinstripe removal tool - take a look!

Personally, I'd get a quote from a body shop before I started messing with the paint myself. I'd hate to spend a weekend ******* up my paint only to find that $100 would have got the gayness professionally removed!
Good luck!

Depends how you define best-cost, speed, results?
No one answered the paint or tapepin stripe question.
Has anyone used this 3m eraser?
Luckily I have not had to do this in a long time but in the 80's I removed many a pinstripe with razor blade and wd-40. Fast, cheap, excellent results.

try your local autobody supply store or online at www.autobodysupply.com

Before you remove the tape I would double check to make sure there isnt a old paint repair that is hardlined to a pin stripe, thats a common auto body trick especially for a used car lot that doesnt want to pay alot of money to fix a panel, so they paint half of it and install the $2 pinstripes.
