A-Piller or SAAB din gauges ...who has them

OK, i'm trying to decide between the two. Either way I can fit three gauges. I know there's a 3rd choice (center speaker mount) but I had planned on mounting a Defi HUD there instead.

Do you regret doing the SAAB din mount? Looks clean and OEM but is it too hard to look at while driving?

Do you regret doin the A-Pillar mount? Good view but attracts cops and lil Honda rivcer boys trying to racer with their stock civics with stickers and bee fart exhaust.

I'm doing the pillar mount now. I don't think that I'll have any issues with it. As far as it attracting cops...well, I think the car does a fine job of that itself.

I should have it completely installed tomorrow. I'll [try to] upload pics over the weekend.

You know what? I thought the same, but in reality, gauges mounted in an A-pillar pod are hard to see from the side, or even at a standstill when parked. I literally have to stand close to the window on the driver's side to notice them. At speed, it's a non-issue. At night, it's maybe *somewhat* of a giveaway that they're there when the gauges are illuminated, but for the most part the're inconspicuous.

Hey GoRacer, I will show you mine at the Rotary Xecret BBQ next weekend. I have them mounted in a universal DIN unit. I like it. Looks very OEM(exact same lighting as stock) and doesn't attract a lot of attention. I've had nothing but compliments on the set-up. Visibility is not too bad. I hardly ever have to look at my guages
anyways, so it's not a problem.

Hey GoRacer, you ever think about the center speaker gauge pods? A pillars and saab panels look awesome too, but this is just another choice. They can hold from 2 to 4 gauges, and i think they look pretty good and for a good price too.

Here's the link where i found them.
