Anyway, while we are on the subject, those "grills" or what ever they are on the sides come alum color like that.....you guys think I should paint them black?
I think I should but some people seem to think I should just leave it as is. What do you guys think?
Can anyone photoshop some black over that so I can see how it looks both ways???

I went APEX'i also. Why $300 US including lights. I got a great deal. I don't have picks because I am modifying it right now. If I was to pay the regular price of $600 US I would have definitely gone FEED or the 99 speck from Peditt Racing. I think that is spelled right.
The reason for this is I don't know how efficient the APEX'i bumper is in keeping air out from under your car when you are at speed. The 99 speck and Feed have had very good results at speeds in excess of 130MPH. They seem to push the air around the car instead of under it. Just my $.02.

I also thought about Feed and the Pettit but by the time you buy all the lights, and the 99 lip and everything else thats needed it adds up to be alot more than the $600 Apexi. Apexi claims it was aero tested and that function was placed before design. I know I've seen about 3 high speed dragster running the Apexi....just to name one would be Ray with SR. I think also the XS car runs the Apexi.
Anyway, I dont know if that means much or not but surely it cant be that bad at high speeds with those guys using it. If it was that bad I'd imagine they would just stay with the stock unit.
The only thing that bothers me is that the underside belly pan doesnt bolt up like it does to the stock bumper, to me it doesnt seem as stable around the bottom.

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread, but hey..I searched, so...
Does anyone know how this (the Apex' w/ 99 lights) was made? Were the holes cut and then filled into fit the lights? It looks fantastic, and completely natural..I can't believe Apex'i hasn't done something like this.
Chuck, RE should make this one! C'mon, its much cooler than a one-piece CF front end ... ;-)
