So look guys, I'm wanting to turn this into a sticky for ALL Generations. I believe Stickies are the best way to eliminate stupid threads asking the same thing that has already been answered as well as having to constantly using the Search function, that is, if people look at the stickies first.

Wanting it to be PFC Commander mounting options as well as any other system monitoring stuff.

Post links like I have done:

GENERATION
THREAD TITLE (Original Poster)
THREAD LINK

....and I will paste them into the original post (trying to keep it clean)

Thanks guys

ALSO:
If you have other Sticky's suggestions for the Interior/Exterior/Audio section...post them here or PM me and I'll get working on them. Or if you have any other suggestions on how to make this section better, PM me.

So far I've been thinking
Interior Plastics: Painting, CF, etc.
Subwoofer Enclosures: Fiberglassing Tutorials, Subwoofer Enclosure Options, etc.

Okay, time to put some of my jdm knowledge to use here.I do not know of any pfc holders besides the r-magic one that looks like such:

However I do know a bit more about engine monitoring and even though our cars are not obd2, some nice options are still available. I will start with the most sought after.

1. Defi Super Sports Cluster. This thing is just badass on so many fronts, you may remembering seeing it in Scoots silver 4 rotor FD. It allows you to essentially monitor all your vitals along with less important things like speed. Only available in Japan, defi refuses to bring them stateside, they are I believe $2700 and than you have to buy all the sensors for the cluster.

Installed in scoots 4 rotor fd

2. An alternative to the defi cluster is the one from Stack. More track cars run the Stack unit as it is a little bit cheaper and supposedly less difficult to install. IMO, the defi unit definitely looks better with less jagged edges and integrates into the fd's dash cleaner. Functionality wise this unit is on par with Defi, Stack is very highly regarded in Japan. Sensors are also sold independently of the unit. Available in white or black

3. Now if you dont want to drop some serious coin, you do not need to get a cluster to fully monitor your system. Here is where the HKS Camp comes into play. It is actually a pretty nifty unit, but of course it comes with the HK$ price tag. The camp 2 was made for ob2 cars but comes with an optional harness for non-ob2 cars and all the sensors are available for an additional cost. The unit allows you to integrate your monitoring system into a LCD screen whether it be a double din of flip out. According to HKS you also can play music while watching your engine vitals. Price is $500ish plus the cost of whatever sensors you want to run.
Picture of everything included:

Setting it up

Some pics of it running

Look familiar?

4. Another great option for vehicle monitoring is the newly released Defi Advanced zd system. This is kind of like their old defi link system but with a much better interface and allows you to monitor multiple readings at once. The unit itself runs $350 plus you need to buy all the sensors. Here is a picture of the unit and a few of its capabilities:

Would be nice to integrate into the a/c spot like such:

That is the old defi link display which only allows you to watch two sensors at once.

So, those are a little bit of your options available for engine monitoring. Personally I will be going with the hks camp as it integrates pretty well and I don't have to look like I am flying an aircraft.
