Painting enginebay w/o engine removal?

I was considering painting my FD white but the shop that works on my car doesn't do engine bays (they are a good shop, i've had lots of good work done by them). I'd like to paint the engine bay black by myself if i do decide to get the paintjob. Is there a technique or a easy way to do this without removing lots of parts from the enginebay, has anyone ever done this? Thanks-Clayton T.

Just pull the stuff loose from the fenders and the few things on the firewall that you can easily move. Pull it all in towards the engine then mask it all up. You can get most everything off the fenders and enough off the firewall to get it close enough that most people won't notice unless they are looking for it.
