I decided to forgo painting the engine bay because it is still expensive relatively and hard to do with the enginee removed. There is still all sorts of **** in there and I know as I'm transplanting from a VR into a MB all my parts (I when I say all, I'm only barely exagerrating - engine, drive train, seats, int panels ,bolt ons, etc).
They wanted like another $400 for the engine bay plus I didn't trust them to mess with the remaining parts there.
