Which bulbs are you using? Also, I can kinda see it, but is the diffuser the stock one? Are you planing on doing anything to that? It might make the ring a appear sharper, and loose the halo effect.

I really like the idea, but I think your's looks half done. I don't think that the textured red and amber lenses work with the LED's. You should replace them with untextured lenses (especially if you are going for the G35/FX45 look).
Also, if you look closely at the Infiniti lights, each LED has a little reflective bowl that it sits in which helps the light appear stronger.
Here's a close up of what I'm talking about, your car:

That's what I said.
Doing something to the 7's lights like the Infinity would require a helluva lotta work. I've got some spare lenses at home. If there's a way to grind them down and smooth them up, I'll do it. Or get new ones molded.
Here's a thing about the turn signal. What about a ring for that too. Ring/solid circle staged thing. Kinda ricey? Eh...maybe. Hell, old Olds' (or maybe Buick's) had progressive turn signals. Just a thought.

I can do totally clear or transparent diffusing lenses for the brake without much of a problem. but theres not a lot of room for the reflectors that infinity uses. most of the "halo effect" i think you are refering to is due to the camera.
unfortunately getting lenses molded is way too expensive for such a limited market, Ive looked into it before.
the problem with the signal is that its very curved so making a clear lens or a ring for that isnt easy at all.
unfortunately its all a balancing act of coolness vs cost.

ok with the night shot and ignoring the different intensity between the two lights: I really like them.
After thinking about it, the brightness is ok too. You actually do want a difference between just the 'tail lights' and 'brake lights', don't want to get rear ended because some stupid driver couldn't tell that you were breaking.

Way cool
The lights rock. Guessing you made you own board to mount the lights? Any pics of the inside? led lay out? Id buy a set when I know the price. I have no problem payying for stuff that is worth it.

Much props on this project rockshox. I'm interested in these, but quite honestly would be more apt to try to build them myself if you had a plan that I could use to go off of. I'm not as familiar with electronics as I used to be, but a basic schematic is something I can follow. Any chance you'd give/sell me your plans and part list?
