New Altezza clear rear light clusters ??
Anyone that have got/seen/heard about the new Altezza rear light clusters for the FD ?? If, how does it looks (pic's thank's !) ? how does they fit ? is it "bolt on" or is there a difference if it is a eurospec car or Japaneese spec car ? mine is a euro spec car ! where can you buy them and what is the price aprox ? I will have to have them shipped to europe ! I think they gives the car a "personal" look, at least here in France/Denmark ;o) and they will match the rear lights of my RX 8 just perfectly !! looking forward to get you answers, thank's.

lol I have that very add on Banzai
Probably the best place to get them if you live in Europe is the Uk, as if you get them from the US you will have to pay customs - should you want to do that, try ebay c USD 180 + shipping + customs
However, THEY LOOK DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what they would look like tinted out with something like the VHT Nite Shades. Expensive experiment but it might be cool. particularly the ones with the black background.

Hey Guys ;o)
Hmmm, different opinions obviosly !! To be honest what I mostly would like is the black 99 spec (round light) rear lights, but they are allmost impossible to get and cost a fortune !!
Riccardo : the lights on the picture you put looks even better ! is it the same (altezza) light clusters just modified/tinted ?? how can one do that ??
Why do you think the Altezza light clusters looks that awfull ? I mean, on my RX 8 they are just like that, do you allso think the rear lights on the RX 8 looks awfull ? I think they look fantastic ;o)

Dude, I did the coversion with a heat gun, spray paint, a pair of scissors, some project paper and everyone says "Wow, you bought the 99 spec lights!"
It would be much better to do the conversion on the older lights than to buy these hidious looking things.

I did my tail lights and it didn't cost me a thing! I had my buddy cut out 6 3" circles with his vinyl machine and I had some black spray paint laying around. Two hours later, and done!

Yea its original veilside kit, c-west ally gt wing......and do you know what....I LOVE EM
The lines of the veilside kit suit the car a whole lot better than some of the god awful kits around.....mazdaspeed rocks generally, but that god awful stick on wide arches that mazdaspeed do look terrible
Also the front that goes with that kit make it look like an mx5 (miata)
I think its because veilside has been around a long time now and there are so many cars sporting that kit, that people get fed up of seeing it, but hey its each to there own and all that
Cheers,
Dan!!
