New advice and redoing the audio in an 88 Rx7
The entire system I got in there now is **** and burnt out from its player to its "premium sound" package speakers...
What I want is a face that I dont have to take off and put in a case, a 6 disc mp3 player or changer, and a new speaker set up..
I had this in mind for the cd player since it folds into itself...
I couldnt find any multiple disc changers that had mp3 functions on it...
Ill get to the speakers after I get the tuner all set up but with new speakers will I have to rewire everything? The original wires from the tuner to the speakers I have now are **** and have the connectors falling out of the back ports anyways...
All in all what should I expect to be replacing? What are good brands to do it with and what brands can I only use with an 88 FC? how much should everything cost? Anything else I missed??
Remember its an FC made before cds were around so mostly Im getting the 6 disc changer since I wont have room to put any extras anywhere else

it all depends on how much you want to spend... and like everything, if you come up with that first you will end up with a better system for less money than buying parts slowly
as far as rewireing, it always sounds better to do that... if you want it "loud" or really clear you prolly want to look into an amp, imo no hu has a decent amp in it
but come up with a price figure first, for the whole system, and then work from there
also, i can fit 2 of those zip up cd holders in the pocket in back of my passenger seat... but my car is a 91 vert... i dunno if they had that in 88 or not
not that i listen to cd's anymore... mmm in-dash mp3 harddrive system
