oh yah and by the way...would anyone know if these come in 17s or 18s? i'm trying to look around for wheels like these that are 17 or 18s, but i think the EVO and the SW388s come in 16s the biggest...I mean, would anyone consider getting the Spoon rims...i like them a lot, but the size is killin' me hehe...thanks for the input guys!

The Regamaster EVOs and Spoon SW388s dont come larger then 16", not sure about the width though. As fragile and as easily bendable the lips are you would want it to have extra tire sidewall to protect from potholes and whatnot.

EDIT: also forgot to mention that ROTA Slipstreams also look like that rim that you had posted in the other thread. But that one weighs 15 lbs for the 16" rim. I cant comment on the strength of the ROTAs though. I know for a fact that the SW388s are the ones that are fragile.

It looks like the SW388s and ROTAs only come in 16x7 (max size). While the Regamaster come in 16x8, so at least you can match the stock rim size.

Hey Optimus,

Not sure if you already found this out...but it looks like the Regamaster EVOs also come in 17x8 and 17x9. The rims are actually made by Desmond, and Regamaster is the model name (I thought that was the manufacturer).

The 17s might be hard to come by in the states though, I'm not sure. Here is the homepage for Desmond wheels (which is in Japanese). Also, I think the yellow RE Amemiya racecar has Desmond rims.

wrong, RE Amemiya GT300 Rx7 uses Enkei RS5 race wheels i believe. They are on Enkei's website. They are 13 inch wide I believe and made of magnesium

You say that you "believe" they are RS5s, so you dont sound very sure. The FD in my picture has Desmond rims cause you can see the Desmond sticker on the front-side fender. The new yellow RE FD has Enkei RC5s (mags) and the Enkei sticker is on the front bumper.
