Just got the ks hood for fd, never heard anything bad about seibon hoods but just my luck I get the one with a slight imperfection well I guess I can live with it I don't think people will notice unless they take a close look of course I'll always be focused on it. It happens to be in the front center. A thread seems a bit over stretched. Maybe I'll avoid the eye sore by getting the thing painted. anyhow what size bolts do you guys use to bolt the hood in. The hood was shipped bolted to wood and I doubt the hood can fit these bolts.

I believe the bolts bolting the wood to the hood is M8 1.25 x 25mm(guessing)

I bought a set of m8 1.25X 20mm i tried to screw them into the hood by hand and it looks like it needs a little bit more to go in but I'm afraid if I wrench it in may force through the top. eye balling bolt out side to hood and it's pretty damn close so I'm not sure I want to take that risk.

next size down I see is down to a 10mm and that is at two different auto stores.

do you guys know exactly what bolts to use or is there an m8 1.25x 15m bolt out there.
