Need help from a body shop painter...
Hello, I want to paint my 7 a Monterey Blue 3 Stage PPG Paint. The color comes off a 2008 Lamborghini LP640. There was an FD painted in that color and here's a pic of the LP640. Now, i have been searching endlessly for the paint color code including Lambo sites and the owner of the FD and I still can't find the code. Hopefully there is a painter on this forum that can help me get it. Let me know. Thanks!

Where did you find that code? I contacted PPG and this is what they wrote back:
"Hello, I have no crossover in any paint line for this color
Thank You

Nevermind. That code in the link above came up as Silver Moon.

Are you sure this blue was available on the LP640? Maybe that car had a color change. Edmunds shows Blu Hera as the only blue color available for the 2008 LP640.
I'm thinking it's that Candy Apple Blue that was only used in 1992. It would also explain why it's 3-stage.

This is what the owner of the Lambo told me:
"Hey that is my old car 2007 LP640, 6 speed. I took that pic a year or so ago in the Nevada Desert..
The color on the car on the build sheet per the manufacture is referred to as
"Special color select-Monterrey Blue"
I do know it is a PPG color and came about in late 1999..."
-The owner of the FD told me its Monterey Blue 3-Stage Paint.
-PPG claims that color doesn't exist lol.
It looks a lot like Candy Apple Blue, Blu Caelum, and something else. It has a purple hue to it though.

I found this site that states the code Monterrey Blue(PPG Global paint, brand code: 103883, paint code: 0031), but then "Ceasarx7", you say it comes up as Silver Moon. The guys on that site explain a bit about the color. Any input?

So I'm assuming Monterrey Blue is a custom color? Or custom paint job to be more precise...

Dunno.
I just went by the color codes in the pdf file I referenced above. I did see a couple of forums mention 0031 as Monterey Blue though. So that adds to the confusion. If none of the resident body men chime in, you might have to stroll down to your local PPG dealer and ask if they can help you straighten this out. It might be a custom mix like you said.
I know this car is always said to be painted "Lamborghini Candy Apple Blue"

^ Thanks, but i'll probably just go to a PPG dealer and ask them about the color i'm looking for. If not, i'll ask to see color samples, it's better to see the color chips in natural light then on the phone or online. Thanks!

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear, House of Kolor also has colour samples, what I meant by contact is get in touch with them and go have a look at their colour samples. But anyway, sounds like you have your heart set on this Lambo blue, the only problem being anyone giving you or knowing what blue it is. Maybe even PPG won't know/tell since it's a Lambo specific colour but anyway hope you find it. I remember looking for Ferrari Red for my MR2, ended up getting a Holden/HSV red.
Here are some HOK blue pics anyway, some seem close to what you're looking for, good luck.

Thanks Alpsta. Looking for the paint code of an exotic car is pretty tough, and exclusive to them needless to say. And yea it seems PPG won't tell me the specific color, unless I was contacting them from a Lambo shop. Anyways, thanks everyone for your help, i'll see what i do then.
