Well since the dumb moderators moved this off to the balck hole, instead of in the 3rd gen section where it belongs and will get way more responses. Here is the places I know sells them. As for fitment and stuff I have no idea, and we will probably get no help.
1 The Rx7 Store sells them in fiberglass and carbon finber
2 http://www.i-m-racing.com/mazstylcarfi.html
3 If you sort through all the info on this one there is some stuff, https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=27385
4 another one you will have to sort through https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=27385
Hope that helps a little

Thanks, Im looking for a hood, I notice the IC duct I may be interested. Does that IC duct have the hole for the Intake? I would be interested if it doesnt, as I have an aftermarket intake.
Also, the hood is 990, I see. Just want to understand the difference between your c/f hood and others that I see for 699-799. Sorry if any of this is re-hashed but I have an interest. Thanks.

The duct has no outlet for the intake, but will fit with the standard cold air intakes such as M@, etc. it is designed to fit the cwr intercooler o you can get a similar sized smic core from spearco and get your endtanks welded on.
The hood is ready to go out of the box, very few fitment issues if any. No prep needed, but if you want it to really shine you should clearcoat it. The guys we work with do great work, and many people on theforum have our hoods, and as far as I know everyone has been pleased. You'll spend less on prep than other hoods you'll get for cheaper, and the longevity of our hoods is very good. The lines were taken from a stock FD hood, so it lines up exactly, and the strength is exceptional. We also use very similar to stock FD mounting plates, etc. This requires higher cost as well. I wasn't aware that anyone else had a mazdaspeed replica until very recently, but I know the majority of the Forum guys that have Mazdaspeed hoods got them from us. We used to have them for cheaper, but now that we don't get many oreders it costs us more per hood, which leads to the higher price. We could possibly do a group buy, but we'd need several people in on it... Saving a couople hundred bucks on the purchase generally leads to higher costs after painting and prep. Even if you don't paint it if the mold isn't up to high standards or you use chaper resin, the hoods wil get wavy and distorted ove time. Ours dosen't have these problems. I can't say the others do, but the last replica mazdaspeed hood I bought led me to find someone to manufacture these in order to get a quality product.

well I read the other thread and found that the duct doesn't work with the BLitz SMIC, so I may not get that. can you provide me with some names of those that have bought your hood? How much is shipping to CA? And is the price including Carbon Fiber?

Is there any difference between the carbon fiber and fiberglass hood as far as fitment? Also will the fiberglass hoods stand up to the heat and things like a carbon fiber will? I want one of the hoods, but mine will be painted so what it is made of doesnt matter and the fiberglass is cheaper.
