Mannix Alarm??

I am looking for a decent pager alarm, at a good price. I have found a Mannix Alarm that looks good, and seems to have a lot of features to it as well.

Specs: Mannix Alarm

Is this alarm decent and worth the money? Also I have never installed an alarm, and think I am probably better off to let someone else do it, any opinions?

Thanks
~John

Roger Collins - Do you mean WHY must? If so can you please tell me why this alarm is crap? What is your basis for this? I am asking a question because I dont know, and need advice. If you can elaborate on why this is "Crap" that would be great!

Thanks

alarms are something that you want professionally installed.
shop you local retailer for the best buy.
you can't go wrong with the upper dei alarms and they sell them everywhere.

as far as substandard product it is the same story with everything 90% is crap only produced for the uneducated buyer. the manufactures know that if it is cheap enough that they will sell their product even though the internals are the cheapest the could get by with.
in short if you have never heard of the name don't buy it. let someone else try it

Thanks for the general buying tips. However, I still fail to see why this alarm is no good. Just because you havent heard of it, doesnt mean its crap. The one buyer has sold well over 500units alone (not including other sellers). Does anyone have any info on this alarm.
