looking for CYM pics
i'm currently looking for pictures of a 93 R1 in CYM. i've always said that when i part with a couple FB and maybe an FC(to make room, i have 8 RX-7's), i'll have a 93 R1 in CYM. the day is fast approaching as i'm getting more and more anxious to purchase my first FD. i was looking through the thread containing pics of FD's but unfortunatly there are a lot of pics that aren't showing up for whatever reason(the links are down my comp sucks..etc) and i didnt really find exactly what i was looking for(there were a few beautiful CYM's that i saved the pics of though). i'm wanting pics specifically of the 93 R1 in CYM, as stock as possible and in any condition. i'm just wanting to drool a little and want to make sure i love the color as much as i thik i do. thank you guys in advance for your help!

Same car just at different levels of what customers had done to it. Sorry for the first link being blurry.

yeah it seems that it may be a challange. i'm just hoping to find a stock body with stock wheels and as stock of an interior as i can find. i'm an RX-7 collector. i will autocross and i have modified some 7's. my current track car is an 85 GS. i just like to drive the car. poyurethane suspension bushings, installing a RB exhaust, no emissions, e-fan, braided stainless clutch hose, and dlidfis. i'm wanting a mazda comp radiator and a weber carb with RB intake. at that point i'll upgrade the fuel pump and get a nice regulator and braided stainless lines. the car has a stock interior and wheels. the only addition that i made to the interior is an alpine deck and infinity speakers all around. i've gotta have my tunes. uncle ted sounds good coming from the speakers in that car! i guess what i'm trying to say is that i want to preserve the cym that i get and in thinking about it, i guess i would upgrade the radiator, add a boost gauge, RB exhaust, and whatever fuel mods are needed to suport the addition of a RB exhaust and if it needs tuned i'll have that done.

Thanks. That last shot was from when I first bought the car. Here's an interior shot.
Back then it was mainly stock, but as you can see, like everyone else, the upgrade bug bit me as well. However, I still have kept all of the stock pieces in case a future buyer wants the car converted back to completely stock condition.

Here's the link to a guy selling his original CYM on ebay.
25K bit much, even for a cym, if you ask me.

It's nice, but worth no more than $20-22K IMO. Hey, I own one and I'm a huge CYM fanatic, but these guys who put them up on EBAY with a starting price of $25K are just self promoters. If that car had 20K miles or less the starting price would be appropriate. I just hate people who have such a high minimum price. Kind of defeats the purpose of Ebay don't you think?
