Looking for an 8-10w amp
Looking to find a low watt amp to replace the one that powers the headrest speakers. Any idea on where to find something like this? Seems all that most audio stores carry is 200w etc. Ask them for a 10w and they look at you like you are insane. anyone know of an online store or something? thanks

There is not much of a market for an amplifier this small since most new head units output that much or more. That being said what you could do is get a 40w/channel amplifier with variable input gain and just turn the gain down. An added benefit is the output will be much cleaner.

I haven't had any issues with wiring my Blaupunkt Pasadena stereo directly to the headrest amp but the stereo only puts out 25 watts RMS/45 peak x 4 channels so I'm not stressing it yet.
