I've got an amp and subwoofer just waiting to be hooked up, but after a look at the firewall I can't seem to find a hole to bring the wire from the battery to the trunk for the amp. Am I just missing it, or is there none on a 3rd gen rx7? If not, I'll just have to drill one... ;-)

drill one. Although replacing the stock components in the the FD if you have the upgraded bose system is a complete pain in the ***, if you have the non upgraded stereo system, i suggest you replace all the components first. It should sound much better. I replaced all my Bose stuff, with Infinity kappa stuff, i also just recently added the infinity basslink to the car. It really sounds good. I had to make custom brackets for the rear speakers though, and i had to cut the stock front speaker boxes to mound some new speakers in the stock location.

I already replaced front speakers, did the same and did some...odd...work to the front speakers to put bigger ones in. I just wanted to get the sub in without having to drill a hole if possible...but o well.
Thanks for your help fellas.

I ran through the hole behind the fuse block, then into the engine compartment under the cruise control. Of course, you have to take the fender off to do it, but I already had mine off. The holes are already grommetted.
