seats that fit...
People,
I guess ultimately it would be nice if we could all pool these experiences and information to come up with a definitive list of seats that actually fit properly (isn't that what we all want??) If someone out there knows it all I would even go so far as to categorize them according to type (reclining or shell), size of the driver as well. The main criteria however should be DO THE FRIGGEN SEATS FIT PROPERLY IN THE CAR. (no rubbing, denting of door panels, correct clearance etc..)
So far this seems to be the short list:
Recaro RZ OEM seats
Memory Fab S58 and S68
Bride Gias and Vios III (although I'm not sure if there is a seat rail for these according to their website)
Please add any seats that fit. I can make a spread sheet showing weight, sizes, price, etc... and repost as a sticky.

ArmitageGVR4 - I would also like to know how comfortable the seats are. Could I reasonably drive 3 1/2 hours to the track, drive all day, and then drive home without bleeding out of my ***?
The seats are definately a good value. I'm not sure if I'm going to get FIA cert seats, and if I do, I'll look elsewhere, but if I don't then these look like the ticket.

I have a question: Are there any reclining after market seats that are FIA approved?
I've been looking at both Bride's GIAS (~$1500) and Veilside's Reclining Seat (~$820) which are both made from Carbon Kevlar. Now, I know the Veilside seats do not fit properly (the shoulder bolsters hit) but the Brides that do fit are nearly double the price. Does anyone know of a quality seat made of Carbon Kevlar that is reclinable and decently priced (that fits an FD, natch)?
Thanks for the help and sorry if I asked something that was already covered, I went through the whole thread but didn't notice anything that close to my questions.

Sparco Pro2000 buck replaced with Sparco Torino, both hits the door slightly.
Recommend non bucket for comfort, so much easier to get in and out of the car, but the bucket does hug alot more if you plan on doing track days.

i had the torinos in my car, and they didnt fit nearly as good as yours. and i didnt have the roll bar then.
i originally wanted the Pro2000, but settled on the torinos then eventually switched to the EVO and Sprint V. howd you get it to fit (the Pro2000)?

Those are the Bride Gias seats. I have the Bride Stradia which is the same, but the forward part of the bolster,(the side where your legs hit), is a little bit lower, making it a bit easier to get in and out. They are nice seats - but your right, expensive!
I'm selling mine because it wasn't practical for my 70+ miles a day drive,(I get in and out a lot, and it just fit me).
I have to sell my sport model at a loss, but that's what it takes.
