LCD Monitor
There are lots of LCD monitors on ebay for pretty cheap. They are replacements for laptops. I was wondering if you could use one as a tv in a car. There are cheap adapters on ebay that convert vga input to rca video input for a dvd player or playstation. Will this work or not. If so, how do you provide the LCD with power? Thanks. Here ae links to some of these auctions.

you know i thought about doing this for the longest time. except i was thinking of connecting the LCD to a laptop in the back or something. then you could just read your datalogit and stuff from your PFC on the lcd. or play music and dvd's on the laptop or something. but then i decided this was too much work. although it would be alot easier if you just use a playstation and conerted it to vga. I hadnt thought of that. m but yeah laptop lcd's are way cheap you can get like a 12" one for like 25 bucks which is alot cheaper than those puny 7" ones you get with those dvd player combos.

need a way to power it, buy a 300watt power converter. the one i bought from radio shack had two hooks up you could use, one would go into the cig lighter and plug into the converter and the other one would hook up straight to the battery. i used to do this in my prelude, the car i had before my fd, and had a ps2 and 5 inch lcd running off of it
