What material are the interior panels of a FD made of? Specifically the interior cover that is directly opposite the external door latch/opening handle?

I do not see a plastic code that I recognize, but the part number on the inside of the interior cover that covers the bolts for the external handle is FD01 68 51YA LH. Does this contain a recognition code in it?


What about exterior? Specifically the small triangles in the front of the door windows by the mirrors?

The numbers inside the small triangles are FD01 50 8R1 and has 5 numbered circles with dots in specific quadrants. (but I am pretty sure this is for batch tracking)

Sorry for the bad descriptions…but what the hell do you call these pieces anyway.
Searched and didn’t find anything on the subject. Any help?

Not sure what the material is, but what you listed is the Mazda part number, or at least very close to it. One document I have lists the part name as "Door Rear Garnish." Part numbers are:
Right: FD01-68-51XD (cost new is $28.20 at www.mazdapartscheap.com)
Left: FD01-68-51YD (cost new is $28.20 at www.mazdapartscheap.com)

Exteriors are called "Door Corner Garnish." Part numbers are:
Right: FD01-50-8R0B (cost new is $56.95 at www.mazdapartscheap.com)
Left: FD01-50-8S0B (cost new is $56.95 at www.mazdapartscheap.com)
At www.mazdapartcheap.com website, they are called "Filler- Right" and "Filler - Left"
