interior fuse box
Hey im looking to finish wiring up my power windows and i noticed that on the interior fusebox when i try to put the fuse in for the power windows it loosely sits in their because there is no clip or something. Every other fuse spot is hard to force in and pull out. What are my options?

Might be stating the obvious, but did you check to see if the contact terminals are present or not? Also, is this for the S5 car referenced in your signature or something else?
It will be a few days before I can check the parts catalogs to see if the higher-optioned models have a different part number for the fuse panel (it's possible), but my money is currently on the lack of contacts for the fuse in question. If that's the case, a power window retrofit means running the appropriate wiring to and from each door.
Based on the current information, I would say that you would have to add the proper terminals to the fuse panel. This may be inaccurate as I have not specifically seen the fuse socket in question.
Because the fuse panel is made by Yazaki, it could use either Yazaki, Tyco Electronics or Korea Electric Terminals contacts of the 0.250" variety. If you could post a picture of the fuse panel, detailing the socket where he power window fuse goes along with another nearby socket that you know holds a fuse correctly (minus its fuse, of course), I could probably identify the terminals and give you an appropriate manufacturer part number as soon as I reassemble my main computer. It's been so long since I looked at my fuse panel that I can't remember what the terminals look like offhand.
Identifying connectors & terminals in the FC & FD is a pet project I've been working off & on for awhile now.

Just got my main computer set up today and did some digging in the catalogs for you.
North American cars:
S4 is FB01-66-730A for all versions
S5 Interior fuse panels are FC01-66-730 for no airbag and FC66-66-730A for with airbag
Japanese cars:
S4 Coupes is F044-66-730B, Convertibles are F055-66-760
S5 is F061-66-730 for all versions
There is no difference in the fuse panel between options except what is outlined above, so my guess is that you are missing the terminals and it was done either during the S5NA to S4T2-JP conversion using the fuse panel from the donor car, whom was lacking power windows. At the moment, I cannot determine what company supplied the terminals for the fuse panel nor advise on how to de-pin or re-pin the affected terminals for replacement. Unfortunately, my car is in storage for the winter or I would have taken a close look at it to figure this out. If you would like to get a picture of the suspect socket and a nearby good fuse socket for me, I would be able to better assist you with this matter.
thanks,
AWC

Just checked the S4 front harness part numbers and they are for the most part the same regardless of model. The only differentiating factors I can find are the illuminated driver's keyhole and a couple other items unrelated to power windows AFAIK, but tied to the GXL/GT-Limited/GT-Limited SE option set. My current belief is that every car was wired for power windows to simplify production, but this may be incorrect and will require further investigation to verify. It would stand to reason that the S5 would follow this line of reasoning as well, based on the ease of adding fog lights to a car that did not have them originally. However, I cannot confirm this yet, so it would be best to doublecheck the parts catalogs for yourself before jumping in.
My hypothesis is that the previous owner was making the car into a track toy and removed the associated wiring from the Front Harness for the power windows under the reasoning of reducing weight. If this is the case, the Wiring Diagrams are your greatest resource in correcting this properly. There are a few differences between S4 and S5 wire colors and this will be the best chance of identifying whether your car is using the original harness or a hybrid S4JP/S5NA one.
Most of the connectors can be sourced from other cars or Eastern Beaver in Japan. When I get some extra time, I'll resume my connector identification project to help issues like this be resolved properly.
