Question? All those crazy show cars that shine so bright it hurts to look at it, what do they use on their cars?

actually the shampoo and conditioner comment makes a lot of sense... u don't condition first or the shampoo wil just take it right off. think about it suprakiller before u go shooting your mouth off.

temper temper now.

...Hmmm. Glad I meandered on over to this topic.
Anywhoo, I can attest to 3M car car products. And I've got a toughy...an 85 with truely shity, no clearcoat havin' Mazda Sunrise Red paint on it. I've been using 3Ms special "cleaner/wax". I don't think it contains abrasive, and it does contain distillates, but no carnuba wax. But this stuff really works. It "micro strips" the paint - that is to say, I think it works to soften the very finest microlayer of paint, and remove it. The applicater and buff cloths do wind up with paint on them. (Not alot, mind you.)
But what a shine it does leave! And after using it twice in a row, I can say it sure beats compounding by hand to get the same "per session" gradual results.

I like it better than "Mothers" wax and compound (Two seperate applications). Obviously, nothing beats true compound, but the sheen this stuff leaves is better than carnuba wax.

Try using clay... it's freaking amazing!! The wax/polish will go on MUCH better and easier. It takes some time... but it's worth it. Get the clay and a spray lubricant, just spray on the car and work on a small area at a time, and wipe off. It will make the surface like glass.

Hey, I have an idea Just polish it and then drive it through the mobile wash and get the wax option! Trust me, just jk.... Clay works very well, but if it takes him 7 hours to wax, it will take him 10 to clay bar it and then another 7 to wax the car he just sanded down. Oh, btw, be careful w/ clay if you have old paint because it is very fine sand paper, therefore don't use it more than once a year..... Make sure you spend the time you have to as well(1.5-2 hours)!

I'm genuinely sorry to have offended anyone, but ANY negative reference to this country, especially by some weak Canadian, will be met with forceful, undiluted malevolence.
