How To Remove Kenwood Headunit?

I'm trying to remove my Kenwood deck with the two "keys" that releases the latches. However, the damn thing won't slide out. I looked at the Kenwood owner's manual and it appears that the I have to unscrew something at the back of the headunit.

Is there a way to get access to this screw without tearing my interior apart?

Thanks for the help, my car is a '94.

nope. I believe you have to pull the shifter surround off to unscrew two screws, then the radio surround pops off. If it was installed right, there should be two screws on each side holding it in. The little "slide in/slide out" thing is the quickest way to get a stereo stolen.

Thanks for the reply. It turns out that I didn't have to unscrew anything, I just didn't push the keys in far enough.
