how do you clean your r1 seats

im wondering what you guys use to clean your r1 suede seats i usealy just use a steamer on a very light setting and a washcloth just seeing what everyone ealse uses would be nice. Also what about a protectant

im curious also... Are there any cloth and suede protectors like ones they sell for leather??? I want to protect my seats from fading and wearing out

you could use a suede brush type cleaner like i have used on shoes in the past

I've known some to use a steam cleaner like you said. I have also heard of people using a pressure washer. Never tried it wish a set of R1/R2 seats, but have done a set of base seats before.

I used two methods for my old R1 seats with excellent results.

1) Shoe suede cleaning kit
2) Stripped skins to run through a washing machine

Before I finally got rid of the seats, I lightly spritzed the worn areas with black interior color spray. It worked decently, but finally pushed me over the edge to get new seats.
