Hoods...

I have been doing some research, and found a lot of useful information. Here is my question though...

I have a daily driver Rx7 with a large ASP SMIC...I really want the scoot hood, because I beleive that front opening will really help with heat issues. I just am not sure that it will fit. I saw on the forums though that some say it will and some say it wont.

How do I get it to fit or should I go with a different hood? I want a hood with vents to help with heat issues, but I may also be concerned with rain getting in hood. I live in FL where it rains everyday in the summer and this car is my daily driver.

Thanks

VIS scoot will fit. Real Scoot and real scoot replica will most likely not fit. I've tried both on my greddy smic and vis was the only one that worked.

How does it compare in quality?

Do you have any issues with rain going into the engine bay and causing electrical problems?

Its hood to hood. I hear good and bad things about VIS. Going through the proper retailer is the key. Buying the lowest buck item on ebay will ensure the worst fit possible per manufacturer.
