Here's a link to low cost gauge pods, but does anyone know where to buy empty gauges?

I'm looking to make a custom LED gauge for my car, and browsing 10 pages of search results in this forum did not help much. I also have used Google, but I cannot find a place to buy empty 52 mm gauges.
I want to build my own internals and face to fit inside. Anyone know where the gauge makers get their enclosures?
