help me!

I have a 94 FD which has a bose wave system.
A few days ago, I installed a Kenwood head unit.
But there comes sound only from the front speakers.
I looked for rear speakers in my FD, but there was no rear speakers.
So I guess the wave box will make sound behind me. I mean the wave box acts as rear speakers. Is that right? if not, where does the sound behind me come from?

I was told the stock amp is in the bose wave box. A mechnic who installed the kenwood HU told me "aftermarket head units are not able to work with the stock amp in FD and of course the wave box is useless because the stock amp doesn't work"
I really wonder if what he said is true. If so, do we have to buy both aftermarket HU and amp?

Plz, Help me~~

The Bose system consists of two door speakers, the rear wave tube and a center channel speaker. Each speaker has its own individual amp. If you wish to replace your headunit, all you need to do is use the Scosche adapter (available from Crutchfield) which has gain controls.

Hope that helped.
