GTP blue class kits

I did a search and didn't really find much infor on it. I was wondering if any body has had much experience with these products. I want to find out the quality of material and fitment and strength. Also I know some people say there is no good replica, so that point aside any info helps. Thanks

I've heard that before too, but the price of the gtp kit is a third of the rotary extreme one(from a shop not the net) and my car needs new front and rear bumpers and is getting body work done so I'm really tight on cash.

I've read that the blue class GTP kit has very thin fiberglass and is prone to cracking quite easily. I will see if I can dig up where I read that. I'd go with a Rotary Extreme kit as well.

A friend of mine put used GTP "blue class" fenders for his S14, boy did they suck. Our body shop bitched at him for the poor fitment, and the quality of the fiberglass.

Not only that, GTP was really unprofessional when handling his transaction.

I was gonna say go for the GTP if you're tight on money, but after reading what Nameless posted, I change my mind.

Go with Rotary Extreme and at the end you will spend less money because what you save when you buy a cheap fiberglass kit, you will spend when the body shop has to use bondo to make it fit.

Trust me, I bought a ED bodykit and had to change it to rotary extreme because the fiberglass sucked and the fitments where horrible. Apart from that they where going to have to mold it on so it would look smooth. I could not take the bumper of if I wanted to later.

Okay here's the real deal about blue class "A1" kits.

The first company to ever start the concept and the term is AEROGEAR. They were the first to make the "baby blue" Z3 fenders for hondas and acuras of all sorts. It guaranteed fitment and quality with no alterations. They soon expanded their production into kits. It sold well until other companies started to paint their kits baby blue and claimed fitment and quality. Pretty soon baby blue parts were floating everywhere and customers wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the good ones and the bad ones. Needless to say people started to become sceptical about the quality. Anyway, my point is be careful about buying the so called "baby blue kit". Might not be all it's cracked up to be.

Take it from me, I sell rice for a living.
