GT Wings : FEED VS RE-A VS Others
#26
JKL Wing is Terrific - but now unobtainable
I have the JKL repro of the RE-A A-spec wing - was part of the last group buy.
Unfortunately Kevin (the owner) works for a tech company (Apple, I think) that suddenly shipped him overseas to Japan, and that left a lot of customers in the lurch. Kevin really wasn't able to address the backorders and refunds very well, and now has a knock on his business rep on the forum. I will say he handled my transactions fine, and his product is TOP quality.
Pics of it on the Beast are found here:

Very functional - car went from powersliding under full power on turn 7 at Thunderhill to sticking like glue. Now the problem is under high speed corner entry, the front end doesn't bite as hard as it used to due to the downforce of the wing on back. Will be developing a lightlweight splitter/belly pan over the winter and may also go with canards on the front if that doesn't do the trick.
According to Mike Lock, who installed the wing for me and also worked on both GOTO Racing RX7s, the chord on this wing, and the wing width, are larger than the ATP by a good two inches. They used the ATP wing on one of the cars.
