Gauge Positioning

Have you guys ever seen the gauges mounted cockeyed on the A-Pillar or just straight up and down. Which Do you guys think look better

every time i've seen them slanted they were the opposite way you have yours oriented . The best reasoning i've heard for it is so when the gauge was at operating level, or peak level, the needle would be pointing in a general direction so if it changed it would be easier to notice out of the corner of your eye. It wasn't so much about looks, but function, but whatever floats your boat and makes you feel more "jdm" , anything useful always gets mis-used in this fasion sooner or later.

I've always had mine staright up, no reason, just do, probably something to do with my **** retentiveness and everything needing to be symmetrical .

+1. Rationale aside, having them slanted would drive me nuts.

I don't care for any gauge mounted on the a-pillar.

Racers since the beginning of time have clocked their gauges so that when the reading is within normal the needle points straight up. The tach is often clocked as well so when the needle is straight up it's time to shift.
