FS: PPI Art - A600.2 / Adcom GFA-5450
Both in excellent condition
A600.2 - $250 obo - If you don't know what this amp is then you have no business buying it.
Adcom (50x4 - fan cooled - balanced inputs WITH line driver )- $300 obo This is the cleanest most musical amp I've ever owned. Adcom knows how to build amps... just head to your local high end audio shop. Balanced lines cancel out impurities that are picked up in the noisy car environment. You will have the purest signal possible short of a digital interface.

I hate to sound ignorant...but could you please tell me why these amps are so great? I am a musician (hence pianoprodigy) and am very particular about my music. Right now my FD has only the Bose speakers. No Head Unit, No subs. Just the 2 front speakers, the center channel, and the Tube. I want to buy a nice setup for my car, but am unsure as to what is best. What did you have these amps running? Will they be wasted if put in a fairly loud FD? Anyways, thanks for responding.

They are typically underrated and will put out CLEAN reliable power, even when cranked.

A poorly designed amplifier can induce electrical noise into the signal. This can be harmonics, noise, distortion and a whole host of other impurities.
A well designed amplifier will preserve the signal as closely as possible... these two amps are "audiophile" grade IMO. Especially the Adcom with the balanced lines (noise cancelling) and the line driver (high output power for transmission).
A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link... so if you have a crappy head unit the amp can't make up for it. But if you have a high resolution head unit then these amps will preserve the quality signal where other will sacrifice sound quality for higher power rating.
Hope that helps...
Yes it's the wrong section - please don't delete me though. I need to sell these puppies.
I had these in my Supra - and high power does not necessarily mean loud BTW.

Yeah I've got the line driver and the cables. The cables are very long and got pinched somewhere but they still work fine. You'd probably want to cut the cables and re-terminate them since they are so long. But like I said they still work fine just are flat in about a 3 inch section.
shoot me an e-mail or catch me on AIM and we can figure something out. I'm "singleturborx7"
